Dear Family and Friends of CSD,

Each year, CSD holds an Annual Spartan 5K road race in conjunction with the Davidson's Town Day Celebration. This professionally timed race will begin and end on the Village Green in Downtown Davidson and we anticipate more than 250 runners. We are always looking for sponsors and volunteers for this incredibly popular event. Come be part of the excitement! 

2012-2013 Race Information:

The 6th Annual Spartan 5K Road Race will be run on Saturday, May 4th at 8:30am.  Once again, this race will be part of the Davidson Town Day Celebration and the race will begin and end at the Davidson Town Green.  Strollers are welcome! The registration deadline is April 21st to guarantee a t-shirt, and the cost goes up by an additional $5 after that date and t-shirts will be distributed while supplies last.  There are two ways to sign up:                    

1.      Follow the link and sign up on Racesonline.com:  Spartan 5K Registration
2.      Use the paper registration form and return it with a check to the front desk of either school (same deadlines apply).

Registration Fee:
Adults $25
Students $20
After April 21st – Add $5/participant

Become a sponsor by contacting Mike Good at CSDCrossCountry@yahoo.com. We have multiple sponsorship levels depending on your desired exposure. For as little as $250 your name/company logo can be featured on the back of the race tee shirts to be given away to every runner. This is a great way to gain exposure for your company and support the CSD Athletics Booster Program. Want more exposure, we have higher levels of sponsorship all the way up to becoming the Title Sponsor of the race which would include your company's name in the race title!

Become a Volunteer!
Become a volunteer by contacting John Lundsten at john.lundsten@yahoo.com. We need volunteers to help with this race! We have multiple position that need to be filled on race day! Want to run the race but still want to help? We also have a need for volunteers in the days before the race to help with packets, race promotions, and seeking sponsorships! We will plug you into a role that will work for you!
