CSD Community -

CSD received wonderful news yesterday!  We have been granted the highest level of accreditation by the Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS) and AdvanceED.  Dr. George Griffin, the leader of the accreditation team, said that staff, students and parents, “have much to be proud of.” 

The accreditation team rates a school using seven standards.  These standards are rated as; Not Evident, Emerging, Operational and Highly Functioning.  CSD was rated as “Highly Functional” on six of these standards and “Operational” on one standard.  The “Operational” rating means you are meeting all of the criteria where the “Highly Functional” rating means you are exceeding the criteria and are a model for other schools.  You can find the specific ratings below.  Having high marks like these is not only affirming, but unusual for a school during their first accreditation process. 

The accreditation team was incredibly complimentary of our program, staff, students and parents and we were humbled by their high praise.
